I just wanted to express my admiration for Paco and his family. To save other lives in the midst of this tragedy and pain is just amazing. He will not only be loved and appreciated by his family but also by the lives that he saved. His impact will never be forgotten. I hope that his wife and family can find comfort in the fact that Paco will live on in such a wonderful way. Such a generous gift. We need more families like this. I am praying for you and hope that you find peace in God.

Paco, yours is a tragic and transcendent story that touches people across the land. I feel a deep loss, not just as a boxing aficionado and fellow Chicagoan, but also as a person who appreciate your generous spirit, even in death. May the light perpertual shine upon you and may the Lord reserve a comfortable place for you at His bosom. Thank you for being here!
I was an amateur boxer when the Rodriguez brothers were in the amateurs. I remember watching a couple of their fights when I fought in the ’94 Golden Gloves. Although we never formally met, I always had great respect for them because they were really good athletes and put up great shows. When I read about Francisco’s tragic death I was sad to hear that one of Chicago’s warriors was carried out on his shield. I am no longer a fighter but I am still a HUGE boxing fan and I follow and remember the great fighters like Francisco and his brother Evaristo Jr… My deepest condolences go out to their family. This is a very sad day for me as a Mexicano, a former fighter and a Chicagoan. Descansa en paz mi hermano!!
within the 10 mins that I would see Francisco at work, his warm presence was felt. He was so respectful and so nice. I am so so so sad to learn this, but he is truely an angel & i believe he should be in heaven… god bless his soul

My prayers go out to the Rodriquez family and especially to his wife and young daughter. Seeing a boxer give his life in the ring brings the harsh reality of the sport to the forefront of everyone’s minds. The donation of all his organs to save other lives speaks volumes of Paco and his family.
I hope many people donate to this fund and help his family through this difficult time. All you big payday boxers and promoters (Oscar, Floyd, Manny, Vlad, Bernard, Shane, Lennox, Arum etc.), please lend a helping hand to your fallen brother and his family if you have not already.
Paco God Bless You son I am a transplant recipient. But I was lucky and bless to recieve a Kidney from my daughter. You are a true champion and a great hero. RIP my friend. Much love and prayers to your family.
Paco, what can I tell you brother? We’ve never met,and yet I can feel the pain your family is going through.I will pray for them.I pray that God
almighty keeps them all in his heart. If I can wish
for you a wish..it would be that your daughter
always has light in her life, that she fights with the same strenght and courage as yours and that the kindness you shared with others be in
her heart always..God bless you and your family
